Consultations
In Belmont Vet Centre consultations, we’re all about keeping your furry friends happy and healthy. Regular health checks are key for all pets. We’re not just about fixing things when they go wrong; we’re all about prevention, catching things early, and making sure your pets are living their best lives.
Consultations are also a chance to discuss and investigate any concerns you have about your pet or just chat about your furry friend with our awesome team.

You may be wondering...
Standard consultations at the Belmont Veterinary Centre are scheduled for 20 minutes. Sometimes longer appointments are required – new pets for example usually come with lots of questions – but our team will schedule a timeslot that is appropriate for your pet’s needs.
We accept a variety of payment options including cash, debit & credit cards, and Vetpay.
It’s best to schedule your veterinarian visit for the morning, when delays are less likely. Try to arrive a few minutes early so you can help get your pet settled and fill out any paperwork. Bring any medical or vaccination records with you, a list of any medications or supplements your pet is on, how often they take them, as well as the food you’re feeding them. Prepare your questions ahead of time, even if that means writing them down.
You can also try bringing their favourite treats to give to your pet during and after the appointment
If you have any special requests or specific concerns we ask that you make these known to our team before your appointment.
During clinic hours, if you encounter an urgent or emergency situation, please notify us by phone first. While we make every effort to attend to all patients promptly, in critical situations, we advise considering immediate assistance at an emergency facility, particularly if specialised care or surgical intervention is likely to be needed. Your pet’s well-being is paramount, and our priority is to ensure they receive timely and appropriate attention.
